Based in Central Scotland, we are a family run business based predominantly online, with a selection of coins also sold at local antique centres. We stock a selection of coins ranging from the medieval period including English hammered coins and Scottish Milled & Hammered coins, right through to modern day proof sets. We sell a variety of Georgian and Victorian coins including crowns, halfcrowns, florins, shillings, sixpences, threepences, pennies, halfpennies, farthings and many more pre-decimal coins. We also have a range of decimal coins for sale from fifty pence coins (50p) to two pound coins (£2 coins) and five pound coins (£5) as well as decimal coin sets.
We have a large selection of banknotes for sale to suit all collectors’ requirements from British banknotes to worldwide banknotes. Our selection includes a wide range of Scottish banknotes including Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Scotland, Commercial Bank of Scotland, Union Bank of Scotland, and provincial issue banknotes. We have a vast assortment of English banknotes from Bank of England notes to early provincial issue banknotes. We also sell a range of worldwide banknotes, including British colonial banknotes from Australia and Canada, popular notes from a number of countries including France and Germany. Our rare banknotes include an 1898 Caledonian Banking Company £1 note and a 1919 Union Bank of Scotland Limited £1 note, as well as many more.
Medals are one of our favourite areas and we have an extensive collection for sale from medals relating to the Jacobite rebellion and Bonnie Prince Charlie; to Commemorative medals; Royal Events and occasion medals, and many more. We also have a large selection of tokens for sale which are a great opportunity to purchase a piece of history at a very reasonable price. Our tokens range from the 17th to the 20th century, and include Copper Tradesman tokens, Scottish Church Communion tokens, Advertising tokens, and many more.
