Are your bracelets genuinely vintage or antique, not modern reproductions?
Yes. Every bracelet and bangle we sell is a genuine vintage or antique piece, not a modern reproduction. Each is inspected before sale, and the description shows its condition, with photos of the exact piece you will receive.
Do you sell coin bracelets?
Not coin bracelets as a specific style, though we occasionally list a bracelet or bangle set with genuine Victorian love token coins, so it's worth checking current stock. As a coin dealer first, we also stock loose antique and world coins if you're after coins on their own.
What is a Victorian love token?
A Victorian love token is a coin, usually a small silver sixpence or threepence, polished smooth on one side and engraved with initials or a message. They were given as a token of affection from the 1880s onwards and often worn as charms on a bracelet or watch chain.
What is the Charles Rennie Mackintosh style?
Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a Scottish architect and designer, active from the 1890s to the 1920s, known for the clean lines and stylised rose motifs of the Glasgow School. Jewellery in his style carries the same geometric, simplified look.
Are your bracelets sterling silver?
Most are, but not all. A few pieces use rolled gold, 9ct gold or other metals, and the metal is noted individually for each piece.
What is Miracle jewellery?
Miracle is the trade name of A. Hill & Co, a Birmingham jewellery maker founded in 1946. It became known for Celtic, Irish and Scottish-style pieces, often set with faux or genuine agate, and was taken over by the Cornish maker St Justin in 2013.
How do I know what size bracelet or bangle to order?
Each piece's dimensions, usually a bangle's internal diameter or a bracelet's length, are given individually, since vintage pieces don't follow modern standard sizing. If you're unsure, measure a bracelet or bangle you already own that fits well and compare it to the measurements given.
Do you sell men's vintage bracelets?
Our bracelet stock is currently mostly ladies' designs, though pieces do vary, so it's worth checking back if you're after something more unisex or masculine in style.
What's the difference between a bracelet and a bangle?
A bracelet is flexible, made from linked chain or panels and usually fastened with a clasp. A bangle is a solid, rigid band that slides over the hand, with no clasp needed. We stock both.
Do you offer free shipping?
